It's Always Summer Somewhere Tour

Beat the Summer Heat and join R&B songwriting superstar Khalid on his It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour with special guest Lauv at Moody Amphitheater in the Texas Capital on June 19th, 2026. One of 25 North American arenas for this tour, Moody Amphitheater will be one of many cities across the country that can expect to feel the warmth of a summer night as Khalid and Lauv bring their individual discographies to town along with all of the warm and fuzziness associated with the season. The It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour will visit iconic venues such as Las Vegas’ The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Morrison’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Chicago’s United Center, Houston’s Toyota Center, Phoenix’s Footprint Center and many more perfect markets across the country. Doors are at 6:30 PM and show start time is 7:30 PM. The festival is expected to be a crazy fun event where thousands of music lovers will flock to witness a unique collaboration between two of the world’s biggest R&B pop acts.

Khalid

R&B singer Khalid brought his soulful sounds to DC perform his hit singles “Location” and “Saved.” His 2016 single “Location” was the first huge hit for the then 16-year-old El Paso native. Performing his music from his highly-acclaimed second album “Free Spirit” when he is in a live setting makes the music even more powerful and gives listeners a chance to connect with hits such as “Young Dumb & Broke” which is about finding independence and self-reliance before becoming too old.

Lauv

Fans on Khalid’s Feelings tour can now experience “Make It Right” live as the singer will perform the catchy pop track. While “Make It Right” is a Lauv original, his name may sound unfamiliar to some as he featured on the Korean K-Pop group, BTS, on the song. In addition to “Make It Right,” Lauv released two singles in 2019 titled “I’m So Tired” and “I’m So Unhappy.” The two tracks preceded the release of his debut album All 4 Nothing, which was released in 2022. Hearing “I Like Me Better,” Lauv’s 2018 hit, live is also a great experience for fans. 

Moody Amphitheater Information

The Moody Amphitheater at Reimagine Moody can be located in the heart of Austin, Texas at 1401 Trinity Street within the 195 acre Waterloo Park, surrounded by hike-and-bike trails and a dynamic social space. With reserved seating in the bowl and 38,000 square feet of lawn seating on a permanent footing, up to 5,000 people will be able to experience a truly intimate yet epic event. Within the venue, refreshment stands will be available to purchase a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as food and snacks. Moody Amphitheater is an accessible venue and we have made every effort for the space to be as accessible as possible

Parking Information

Paid parking is available at numerous locations across campus and at the Texas Facilities Parking Garages (TFPG) located between 12th and 17th Streets along San Jacinto Boulevard (between 17th and 15th Streets) and Trinity Street (between 17th and 15th Streets). In addition, visitors may also park in various street locations and neighborhood parking lots.
