Victory Garden Tour

Young the Giant, Cold War Kids, and KennyHoopla will perform LIVE on Friday, July 10th, 2016 at the Moody Amphitheater in downtown Austin, Texas as part of the Victory Garden Tour.

Young the Giant

This California native alternative rock band has been at it since 2004, playing to sold out crowds and touring all over the world. The soulful lead singer, Sameer Gadhia, brings the songs to life along with the rest of the band. This group has been playing for years and have mastered their sound blending the emerging alternative rock scene with their take on the identity of self and the roots of each band member from around the world. Currently touring for their upcoming release of the Victory Garden this year and performing hit songs that fans love such as “My Body,” “Cough Syrup,” and “Apartment.”

Cold War Kids

The Long Beach, California, blues rock-influenced band has been building a large and diverse fan base over the years with their quirky, blues-punk songs that have evolved into a more refined and polished sound, or what some would call an anthemic, soulful sound of indie rock. Their self-titled 2023 album is their 10th studio record and it explores the band’s ability to push the limits of the indie rock genre and incorporate blue-eyed soul into their sound. The core of the band is made up of singer and guitarist Nathan Willett and bassist Matt Maust.

KennyHoopla

Born and raised in Cleveland, Kenneth La’ron Beasley, better known as KennyHoopla, has been growing in popularity since the mid-2010s. His sound has dramatically shifted from his initial work in the indie rock scene to his more recent work in the electronic-infused pop-punk scene. He has been touring the U.S. as well as performing in Europe & the UK off of his independent releases such as his debut indie rock release, a mixtape called Survivor’s Guilt. KennyHoopla’s most recent work, an album released in 2025 titled The Conditions of an Orphan, will be featured in his performance.
