Generations of music lovers are coming together for the fourth annual Austin Blues Festival! This year, the festival’s exciting lineup is composed of in-demand artists from Saturday to Sunday. Annually, the popular Austin Blues Festival gathers music enthusiasts to become the audience of an excellent lineup of artists. The Austin Blues Festival is a whole weekend event that celebrates the fusion of traditional and modern music elements. The festival’s extensive lineup is the primary reason for the high demand for tickets. Co-owner Will Bridges promises that the lineup will be a combination of “legendary artists and rising stars, cementing the festival’s reputation as a premier destination for music enthusiasts.” Each ticket will also support the organization’s mission of building and maintaining an “extraordinary urban park system for the benefit of all Austinites”. The Saturday performers are made up of the jazz, groove, and swing ensemble Huston-Tillotson Jazz Orchestra, Award-winning blues musician D.K. Harrell, disco, jazz, funk, and Latin rhythm Venezuelan band Los Amigos Invisibles, the Made in New Orleans New Breed Brass Band, croonal and campy Adrian Quesada’s Boleros Psicodélicos, headliner and Cliffs of Dover, Manhattan, and Song for George hitmaker Eric Johnson, and the legendary blues guitar players Jimmie Vaughan & Friends.
The audience will definitely enjoy the second day of the weekend festival as it starts with dance and electronic pop musical band Annie & The Caldwells, country band Chaparelle, husband-and-wife country duo The War and Treaty, the city’s only all-female Pinettes Brass Band, roots rock band Larkin Poe, and headliners instrumental and production band BADBADNOTGOOD and the iconic music talent collective Parliament Funkadelic ft. George Clinton.
